The Ice Blue Studio Glass sculpture "Flora Galactica" was recently installed at the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens near Romsey, Hampshire as part of their "YEAR OF SCULPTURE 2007 - ART IN THE GARDEN 2007" exhibition from Sat 26 May 2007 to Sun 28 Oct 2007.
Now in its eighth spectacular year, Art in the Garden, in partnership with Underground Art + Design, has become established as one of the most exciting exhibitions of contemporary craft and sculpture in the UK. Over 180 pieces of art and design from new and established artists have been given the opportunity to show their work to a new audience in a beautiful outdoor setting.
Open until the end of October, the exhibition features a range of local, British and international artists who work in many materials, both traditional and contemporary, which include glass, stone, plastics, stainless steel and wood. Many artists work with an environmental agenda and use recycled and found objects within their creations.
